I had a wonderful stay at Marina Palace, where the location was simply stunning with breathtaking views over the ocean. The service was mostly great, with friendly staff who were eager to help, but there were a few hiccups like slow response times. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although the noise from the street was a bit bothersome at times. The rooftop bar was a highlight, perfect for relaxing with friends in the evening. Overall, a great choice if you're looking to enjoy the beach vibe away from the crowded tourist spots.

7.0/10

I had a decent stay at the hotel, which is in a perfect spot in Leblon, just steps from the beach. The rooms are a bit dated but still comfortable, with all featuring a view. While the restaurant was okay, I found better dining options just a short walk away. The gym amenities were underwhelming, but the rooftop terrace offered stunning views. Overall, the value for money was solid due to the prime location, though some facilities need improvements.

7.6/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the location is great, right by the beach in Leblon with a fantastic view. On the other hand, while my bed was comfortable, the room could have used some improvements, especially in cleanliness. The breakfast was decent but a bit limited in options, and service was generally friendly except for a few issues. Overall, it offered good value for the area, but there were definitely some aspects that left room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, but the cleanliness wasn't up to par, particularly with dirty windows and a somewhat dated feel.
Service

Most of the staff were courteous and helpful, though I did encounter one rude staff member during a taxi request.
Location
10.0
The location is unbeatable, right across from the beach, with easy access to cafes and shops in a safe neighborhood.
Dining

The breakfast was good with a variety of options, but it felt slightly overpriced given the offerings.
Facilities

The hotel had a rooftop pool that I found delightful, even if it was a bit small.

7.8/10

I had a great time at the hotel, primarily thanks to its fantastic location right across from Leblon Beach. The room was clean and comfortable, but a bit dated. The breakfast spread was substantial and delightful, while the rooftop pool offered stunning views but could be more inviting. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking to experience Rio, even though some aspects might feel less modern and there was some wait time for the elevators during peak hours.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was decent size but did show some signs of aging. It had a comfortable bed and enough space for my needs, but I expected a bit more based on my reservation for three adults.
Service
7.0
The service varied; some staff were very attentive while others were less so. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like room cleaning in the evening and their willingness to assist with recommendations.
Location
10.0
The location is hard to beat, with the beach literally steps away and plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The neighborhood felt safe and pleasant to stroll around.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was excellent; a wide variety of fresh fruits and tasty options made for a great start to the day. However, I didn't dine much beyond that, given the abundance of dining options nearby.
Facilities
7.0
The rooftop pool was lovely, but a bit small for my taste. It was usually quiet when I visited, providing a nice ambiance to relax and enjoy the view.

6.2/10

The hotel is positioned in a prime area, right across from the beach and surrounded by upscale shops and restaurants. The cleanliness is commendable, and the breakfast offers a delightful variety of fruits. However, the service left much to be desired, particularly with their response to noise complaints and check-in processes. Additionally, the pool and gym facilities are quite limited and not ideal for relaxation or exercise.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are generally clean but feel small and somewhat dated. I found it challenging to get comfortable due to the paper-thin walls and noise from adjoining rooms.
Service
5.0
The service was inconsistent. While some staff members were helpful, others displayed rude attitudes, especially when handling complaints.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic if you enjoy a quiet, safe spot close to the beach. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance, making it quite convenient.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was a highlight of my stay with a great selection of fresh fruits. However, the overall dining experience could have benefited from more options.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area is very small and not really suitable for serious swimming or lounging. The gym is basic with limited equipment.
